Day 1: Arrival in Uganda
Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you warmly welcomed by a representative from Alive African Adventures. Who will assist you with the necessary formalities. Following this, you transfer to a luxurious lodge situated near Entebbe, where you can relax and unwind after your journey.
Day 2: Flight to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
After enjoying an early morning breakfast at the lodge, you will be transferred to the airport for a scheduled flight to Kihihi Airstrip. Located close to the renowned Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Upon landing, you will be greeted by your guide and chauffeured to your luxury lodge. Nestled amidst the lush surroundings of the forest. Following check-in, you can savor a delicious lunch at the lodge and spend the afternoon at leisure. Perhaps indulging in spa treatments or exploring the lodge’s scenic environs.
Day 3: Gorilla Trekking Experience
Your day will commence with an early breakfast at the lodge, after which you will be transported to the park headquarters. For a comprehensive briefing on gorilla trekking protocols and guidelines. Embarking on an exhilarating adventure, you will set out on a gorilla trek through Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Accompanied by seasoned guides and trackers.
Following an immersive trek, you will have the extraordinary opportunity to spend up to an hour observing. And photographing the assigned gorilla family in their natural habitat. After the trek, you will return to the lodge for a delectable lunch and some well-deserved relaxation.

Day 4: Gorilla Habituation Experience
On this day wake up and have an early breakfast at the lodge, followed by a transfer to the park headquarters for a detailed briefing on the gorilla habituation experience. Embarking on a full-day adventure, you will join researchers and trackers in the process of habituating a gorilla family to human presence.
Spending several hours in the company of these magnificent primates, you will have the rare opportunity to observe their behavior and interactions up close. Amidst the forest, you will enjoy a packed lunch before continuing your immersive experience. Upon completion of the habituation session, you will return to the lodge for relaxation and contemplation, reliving the awe-inspiring encounters of the day.
Day 5: Return to Entebbe and Departure
On your final day, you will enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the lodge before checking out and proceeding to Kihihi Airstrip for your scheduled flight back to Entebbe. Upon arrival in Entebbe, our Alive African Adventure representative will be on hand to assist you with your onward travel arrangements or transfer to the airport for your departure flight, marking the conclusion of your unforgettable luxury gorilla trekking and habituation experience in Uganda.
