Day 1: Transfer to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park
Pickup from the airport by Alive Africa Adventures’ driver guide who warmly welcomes you to Uganda and gives you guidelines and procedures on how to live and enjoy in Uganda. The guide then gives you the itinerary which guides your day-to-day activities while on the trip to Uganda. The drive to Mgahinga national park starts. Mghahinga is the smallest national park of Uganda(33.7sqkm) seated in the southwest making boundaries with Rwanda and DRC. It’s referred to as the only park where silver meets gold, this is because of the mountain gorilla coexisting together with golden monkeys, it has 3 ranges of the Great Virunga volcanoes that is Muhabura, sabinyo, and Mgahinga where it derives its name from. The park has over 76 species of mammal, over 400 bird species which include white-necked raven, black kite, double collared sunbird among others. Meal plan. Day 2: Gorilla Tracking and Batwa experience
After an early breakfast, the driver guide will pick you up and drive to the park headquarters for briefing at 8 am and then tracking. After the tracking, you will drive back to the lodge for hot lunch and relaxing and later in the afternoon do the Batwa community walk. While here, you will interact with the native inhabitant of the forests who were forced out of the forests and had to start a new life out the forests. Hidden treasures of information are discovered. Evening relaxation at the lodge as waiting for dinner for Adrenaline thrilling activities the following day.

Day 3: Hiking Mt Sabinyo and Canoeing on Lake Mutanda.
After an early breakfast, head out for the park Headquarters once again to meet your guides and acquire some Porters (an own cost) as it is a long day. The hike to the Sabinyo Peak takes approximately 8 hours through the diverse ecosystems making it a unique habitat for Mountain Gorillas, different bird species, and beautiful vegetation as you go to the higher Altitudes. At the 3rd peak of this Extinct Volcanoes is the interception of the 3Countries respectively. Uganda, Rwanda, and DR Congo. The Volcanoes is also sometimes known as the Old Man Tooth due to its appearance which resembles a jaw of an Old. After Conquering the volcano, you will descent back to the starting point from where you drive to the Lodge for Lunch and Relaxation. Later in the evening. You will undertake a canoe on Lake Mutanda one amongst the many dotted lakes in the region for a Canoe ride, after returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight and preparing for your return Journey the Following Day.

Day 4: Transfer Back to Kampala to End the Safari.
After an early breakfast, then drive back to Kampala starts off winding through the rolling hills of Kigezi and breathtaking corners, you will have a lunch break in Mbarara at Agip Motel and then proceed to the Equator at Kayabwe, have a photo moment at Equator monument with a few experiments to distinguish which hemisphere you are in and then continue with the journey to Kampala. The guide will drop you at your Hotel or the Airport to End the Safari.
