Detailed 6-Day Maasai Mara Nakuru & Amboseli Special Budget Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Maasai Mara in Nairobi
After leaving Nairobi, you will travel west to Maasai Mara while taking in the breathtaking scenery of the Great Rift Valley escarpments. You will stop at a vantage point where you may enjoy the Great Rift Valley vista. Before reaching the camp or park, you may eat a cooked lunch at the second stop in Narok. From Nairobi to the Mara, the trip will allow you to see a variety of scenery.
Take a game drive in the evening to see animals after settling in and getting some rest. Come back for supper and lodging at our fully equipped camp, which offers buffet self-service meal plans and hot showers. Your choices are taken into consideration when serving meals.

Day 2 Maasai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast, embark on a full-day game drive and take in the stunning Mara savannah grassland landscape on rolling hills and its “residents.” The reserve is renowned for its seasonal wildebeest migration, which takes place between July, August, and September. If you’re lucky, you’ll see all five of the Big Five, but you can be sure you’ll see at least two. The reserve is home to a variety of bird species, which is a breathtaking sight. After a picnic lunch in the wilderness, continue your search for wild animals until late at night, returning for dinner and spending the night at the camp.

Day 3: Nakuru and Maasai Mara
Following breakfast, you will go to the Maasai community to participate in a variety of activities and learn about their culture (at an additional fee of $10 per person). After lunch in Mai Mahiu, you will depart for Nakuru. You will see the breathtaking Lake Naivasha and Mount Longonot in the distance on your trip to Nakuru. Before traveling to Nakuru, you might take part in the enjoyable optional boat ride on Lake Naivasha. The inexpensive motel is where you will have dinner and spend the night.

Day 4: Amboseli-Nakuru
After breakfast at the hotel, head to Lake Nakuru National Park for a wildlife drive. Flamingos are among the many species of birds that call it home. Savor the sight of crocodiles, buffaloes, and hippos at Baboon Cliff. You will check into your tent for supper and an overnight stay in Amboseli National Park after having lunch.

Day 6: Nairobi to Amboseli National Park
At 6:30 am, have your pre-breakfast before heading to the marshy park for the early game drive. Savor a range of herbivores, including hippos, big elephants and their offspring, and other species, as they laze around in the muddy marshes. After returning and enjoying a hearty breakfast at the camp, depart and head back to Nairobi, stopping for lunch along the way. Depending on your option, we may drop you off at the airport or at your hotel.
