Complete 6-day Schedule package
Day 1: Drive to the Parc des Volcanoes after arriving at Kigali International Airport
upon your arrival time, our representative will meet you and take you to Parc Nationale de Volcanoes for the 6-day Rwanda Gorilla Safari Experience. Rwanda is known as the “land of thousand hills” because of its stunning hilly landscapes, which you will see on the way to Ruhengeri. You will be amazed at how beautifully the hills are arranged in descending order, with undulating green grass covering them all. Get there for dinner and bed.
Day2: Rwanda Gorilla Safari Expedition that includes a gorilla tracking excursion and cultural entertainment in the evening.
With the exception of the moment you encounter the gorillas, you will never remember anything at all. In the twenty-first century, gorillas continue to dominate the travel and tourist sector. You will be led through a forest that includes hilly walks that can get slick during the rainy season. Although you will only be with these giants for a maximum of one hour, the experience of seeing a gorilla is worth the fatigue that comes with waiting two to six hours to see them. For this workout, it is advisable to bring water and a packed lunch. After dinner, return to the lodge you have reserved for the night.
Day 3: Proceed to unwind at the Kivu Serena Hotel beside Lake Kivu.
The largest lake, Lake Kivu, on the Rwanda/Congo border, resembles a gigantic inland sea and has some fascinating lakefront settlements. A tranquil haven for swimming, kayaking, and water skiing, Kibuye is two hours from Kigali. Formerly a well-known resort, Gisenyi today has a languid, forgotten atmosphere and some lovely but dilapidated Belgian-era buildings. After gorilla tracking in PNV in Rwanda, one can explore Lake Kivu. You won’t be the same after taking a boat ride on the lake, where you can perhaps spot numerous bird species and other aquatic creatures. You’ll eat dinner and sleep soundly.
Day 4: Travel to Rwanda’s Nyungwe Forest National Park
After an early breakfast at the resort, travel to Nyungwe Forest National Park, stopping for lunch along the way. Red-tailed monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys, wild chimpanzees, and many other timid woodland inhabitants flourish throughout the forest.
Day 5: Tracking chimpanzees in Nyungwe forest and spotting birds in the afternoon
After breakfast, drive to the Nyungwe Forest park headquarters for a briefing before beginning your chimpanzee tracking adventure. However, since this adventure might occasionally run longer than six hours, it is best to plan ahead and bring a packed lunch and lots of water. Along with chimpanzees, the forest is home to a number of other creatures and birds, including colobus monkeys, black and white casqued horn bills, and great blue turacos.
Day 6: Return to Kigali city and head to the airport to depart.
Drive to Kigali for lunch after waking up for breakfast. You will have a city tour of Kigali once you arrive, see further Genocide memorial sites, and browse for crafts in the market.
