2 Days Fly-in Gorilla Safari
This 2 Days Fly-in Gorilla Safari takes you to Bwindi impenetrable National park in the southwestern part of the “pearl of Africa”. The park is on the edge of the western arm of the Great Rift Valley and is one of Africa’s biodiversity-rich ecosystems with rich fauna, flora a unique birdlife (0ver 315 bird species of which 23 are Albertine endemics). It is home to half of the population of mountain gorillas remaining in the world and the best area for gorilla tracking. The park has four sectors where different gorilla families have been habituated for tracking and they include Buhoma, Rushaga, Ruhija, and Nkuringo. This fly-in safari will give
you a chance to have aerial views of Uganda’s unique landscapes and the green cover.

Detail Itinerary
Day 1: Fly from Kampala (Entebbe or Kajansi) to Bwindi
After breakfast or upon arrival, Depart for the flight to Bwindi Impenetrable national park. You will fly to Kisoro (Nyakabande airstrip) for the northern sector of Bwindi (Rushaga, Nkuringo, and Ruhija) or Kihihi airstrip for the southern sector (Buhoma). After landing you will be met by our driver guide who will be with you during your stay and will transfer you to your lodge.
You will check-in, refresh and have lunch at the lodge.
In the afternoon visit the Batwa communities who were hunter-gatherers and inhibitors of the forest before it was gazetted as a national park.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking and fly back to Entebbe
Wake up early, have breakfast, take your packed lunch and be at Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park Headquarters for the Mountain Gorilla Tracking (Trekking) orientation and meeting with guides and separation into groups depending on which group you will be tracking. At 8.30 you enter the forest to track the Mountain Gorillas.
Tracking can take from 2 hours to half a day depending on how far the gorillas are and which
gorilla family you track. After tracking, drive back to the lodge and have lunch. Thereafter transfer to the airstrip for a flight back to Entebbe to end 2 Days Fly-in Gorilla Safari .
The 2 Days Fly-in Gorilla Safari ends as we meet you in Entebbe and transfer to your hotel to arrange your flight out.
