Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Airport pick up from Entebbe International Airport and drive to the Lodge
Pickup from the Airport by Alive Africa Adventures Guide who will brief you about the 15 days adventure in Uganda and transfer you to the lodge for relaxation and prepare for the following day.

Day 2: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park via the Equator.
After an early breakfast, the guide will pick you up and drive to Bwindi Forests the home of the mountain Gorillas. You will have a stop over at Equator for Photography and a lunch break in Mbarara at Igongo country Hotel and procced through the winding roads and rolling hills of Kigezi to Bwindi. Reaching the Park in the Evening, Check in the Lodge for relaxation and overnight.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking and Batwa Community Visit Experience
This is the major highlight of your safari. Prepare yourself for an encounter with one of Bwindi’s gentle giants: the rare Mountain Gorilla. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is a highlight for many visitors as this is where they will be visiting the home of the gentle giants. The park lies in southwestern Uganda on the edge of the Rift Valley.
Uganda’s oldest and most biologically diverse rainforests lies on the mist-covered hillsides. This magnificent forest dates back over 25,000 years, even surviving the last Ice Age (most forests disappeared). The bwindi forest has an incredible diversity of flora and fauna and is the only forest in Africa that can make claim to host both mountain gorillas and chimpanzees. In fact, half the worlds’ population of gorillas live here divided over nine habituated family groups. Also 5 other primate species, 120 species of mammal, over 220 butterflies and 360 bird’s species call Bwindi home

Day 4: Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park Ishasha Sector.
After breakfast, you will head out to Queen Elizabeth National Park Famous Ishasha Sector for the tree climbing lions. You will have a game drive and drive to the Lodge for Lunch and relaxation and prepare for another game drive in the evening. This sector is also well known for Large concentrations of animals like Topis, water bucks, antelopes and beautiful landscapes. Spend a night in the whispering jungle soothing the mind.

Day 5: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth with Boat cruise along Kazinga Channel
After breakfast, drive to the northern Part of the Park and under take a boat cruise on the Kazinga channel. In the afternoon you will take a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel. Here, you will see a lot of hippos more than you can imagine as well as a variety of other animals which come to the waterhole to drink or bathe. You can expect to see: Buffalo, Crocodile, bathing elephants, and a range of beautiful birds.

Day 6: Morning Game Drive in Kasenyi Sector and Transfer to Fort Portal (Kibale Forest National Park)
The morning is the best time for a game drive as the African animal kingdom tends to me most active when during the golden hours of the first sunlight touching the savannah. You will continue the search for all the wildlife; elephant, buffalo, lion, waterbuck, leopard, Uganda kob, warthog and do not forget about the birds and the primates.
After the game drive, you will head to the lodge for Lunch and then Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park.

Day 7: Chimpanzee Trekking and Bigodi community walk Experience
Chimpanzees share 98% of human genes making them our closest living relatives. They are found in 21 countries throughout Africa but are most easily sighted in Uganda due to their dense populations. Today, in Uganda, there are approximately 5,000 chimpanzees left in the wild. The Chimpanzee Trekking experience here is done on several well-maintained walking trails. There is also a wonderfully diverse concentration of other primates, more than any other forest in East Africa, in fact. Besides our delightful cousins, the chimpanzees, you can find red colobus, red-tailed guenon, white-nosed monkey, gray-cheeked mangabey, blue monkey, L’Hoest’s monkey, and the black and white colobus monkey. In addition, you may see olive baboons, bush babies and nocturnal pottos.
In the afternoon, you will go for a walk in Bigodi Wetlands Sanctuary which features 8 primate species, over 200 bird species and many reptiles. During the walk – which takes 2 to 3 hours – you have a chance to many animals, but the highlight is catching a glimpse of a famous bird; the Great Blue Turaco.

Day 8: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park.
After a morning breakfast, Transfer to Murchison falls National Park. It is a relatively long drive of about 6 to hours. Having a lunch break in Kagadi and proceeding to the park checking in Late and drive to the top of the falls to see how the Nile fixes into a narrow gorge of 7m falling 43 m forming the world’s strongest falls. Drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 9: Morning Game Drive and Boat Cruise to the bottom of the Falls
After an early breakfast, it is time to explore the park. On your Game Drives, you of course need a fair share of luck and very good eyes to try and spot as many animals as possible. While driving through the park you can come eye-to-eye with the African animal kingdom animals such as elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, lions, leopards, different species of antelope, and many tropical birds. They are all there! A professional ranger with extensive knowledge of the park and its inhabitants will join you in your car.
The park is especially known for its massive elephant population, a huge array of bird species, and big herds of buffalo. You will discover some of the park’s ecosystems and different scenery with dense woodland, extensive savannahs, and rolling grasslands. As this is a private game drive you can ask your guide to tailor your trip towards specific birdlife and/or wildlife if you like.
The afternoon boat safari towards the Murchison Falls is a very special activity, it takes approximately 3 hours and goes along the Victoria Nile to the base of the fall. You can imagine; this boat safari will show you breath-taking scenery. Cold drinks are for sale onboard for when you get thirsty for a local beer or a soda. Carefully watched by crocodiles, hundreds of hippos, buffaloes, water birds, monkeys, and all the other (also thirsty) wildlife that the Nile attracts you go to the bottom of the powerful Murchison Falls. If you like hiking, the boat can drop you near the waterfalls and you can hike up to the top (this takes around 1 or 1, 5 hours). The views are amazing!

Day 10: Another game drive and Optional of Hot Air Balloon Murchison Falls
After breakfast at your own pace, you will once again drive through the open savannah in search of the previously missed animals on the previous game drives. You can also opt to explore the Park through a hot air balloon which is an Optional Activity. Drive back to the lodge for relaxation and overnight.

Day 11: Transfer to Kampala, stop at Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino tracking.
After breakfast, exit the Park via the Southern gate in Masindi and drive to Zziwa for Rhino tracking in Nakasongola. You will have a chance to get closer to rhinos in the wild and take as many shots as you can. This gives you a chance to explore the big five in the country. Have a lunch break in Nakasongola and proceed to Kampala for relaxation and overnight.

Day 12: Transfer to Jinja – Via Ssezibwa Falls.
After an early breakfast, head out to the Eastern side of the Country to Jinja city the Adventure capital of Uganda having a stop at Ssezibwa falls for photography and proceed to Jinja. Reaching in Lunchtime and after have a boat ride to the Source of the Nile.

Day 13: Full day at Wild waters Lodge
This day you will spend the entire day having fun with adventurous sports on the Nile, you can opt to tube down the Nile, Go for Bungee jumping or white-water rafting. Spend an entire day and drive back to the Lodge for relaxation and Overnight.

Day 14: Travel to Kampala to get a PCR test. Head back to Entebbe
After morning breakfast, transfer back to Kampala to get your PCR test and go for a city tour. It will take you around to the Gadafi Mosque for beautiful aerial view of the city and to Namirembe and Rubaga Cathedrals the oldest Centres of Christianity and takes you around to Markets near the city centre. And drive back to Entebbe to Prepare for departure.

Day 15: Drive to the Airport for Your International Flight.
