Day 1: Arrival in Kidepo Valley National Park
Upon your arrival at Kidepo Airstrip via a scheduled flight, you’ll be warmly welcomed by your Alive Africa guide. And transferred to your chosen lodge or safari camp within Kidepo Valley National Park. After settling in, you’ll enjoy a delicious lunch at the lodge, followed by an afternoon game drive where you’ll have the chance to encounter a variety of wildlife such as lions, elephants, giraffes, and buffaloes. As the day winds down, you’ll return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Full Day Game Viewing
Your day begins with an early morning game drive, offering prime opportunities to witness wildlife such as elephants, buffaloes, zebras and kobs among others at their most active and enjoy the breathtaking sunrise over the savannah. Following a bush breakfast, you’ll have some time to relax at the lodge before embarking on another game drive or participating in a cultural experience, such as visiting a local Karamojong community. The day concludes with dinner and overnight accommodation at the lodge.
Day 3: Nature Walk and Wildlife Encounter
After breakfast, you’ll set out on a guided nature walk led by experienced rangers, exploring the park’s diverse ecosystems and encountering wildlife up close. Following the nature walk, you’ll return to the lodge for lunch and optional afternoon activities, such as birdwatching or relaxation. Later in the day, you’ll embark on a sunset game drive, capturing the beauty of the African sunset and observing nocturnal wildlife. Dinner and overnight accommodation are provided at the lodge.
Day 4: Departure
Your final morning in Kidepo Valley National Park begins with a final game drive, allowing you to soak in the sights and sounds of the African bush before returning to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, you’ll check out of the lodge and transfer to Kidepo Airstrip for your scheduled flight back to Entebbe or onward destination, concluding your memorable safari experience in Kidepo Valley National Park.
