6-days Uganda Sport Fishing Safari: With the majority of the country submerged under water, Uganda is a terrific place to go sport fishing in Africa. Lake Victoria and Murchison Falls National Park are popular spots for sportfishing. It is not possible to fish for Nile perch in Lake Victoria, Uganda! In Murchison Falls, more than 108 kg have become caught beneath the falls. Catfish weighing more than fifty kilos are among the fish you can catch in addition to Nile perch. Tilapia, barbell, tiger fish, genus alestes, and fierce fighters.

Day 1: Transfer to Jinja

Comprehensive Itinerary
Day 1: Drive to Jinja
Depending on where you are in Kampala, our safari guide will meet you before you leave for Jinja. The travel takes three hours, including lunch on the way. Connect to the Jinja Nile Resort Hotel where you have a reservation for supper and sleep.
Day 2: Spending the entire day fishing at Jinja
After breakfast, get ready for your Lake Victoria fishing adventure. You will have a training, be given your fishing gear, and then drive to the boat. After fishing in the afternoon, return by car to your resort for dinner and spend the night there as previously mentioned.
Day 3: Transportation to the National Park of Murchison Falls
After breakfast, depart early from Murchison Falls National Park. The travel takes six to seven hours, including lunch on the way. After you arrive, head to the lodge you reserved for dinner and the night. The luxury options are Paraa Safari Lodge, the mid-range choice is Pakuba Safari Lodge, and the budget alternative is Heritage Safari Lodge.
Day 4: Experience with sports fishing
After breakfast, you will be picked up by your driving guide and taken to the launching site, where you will board a boat and bring a packed lunch to the fishing areas. You have a better chance of seeing the Nile perch at Murchison Falls National Park, but it’s not a given. As mentioned previously, dinner and overnight stay at the resort.
Day 5: Sport fishing for another day
Following breakfast, you will proceed as you did the day before and enjoy your entire fishing experience. Take your packed lunch with you to your starting spot. You will be connected to the fishing activities by your guide. This is going to happen somewhere else on the Nile. As mentioned previously, dinner and overnight stay at the resort.
Day 6: Return journey to Kampala
Drive out of the park and start your journey back to Kampala after breakfast in the morning. It takes four to five hours. If you have a flight, you will be dropped off at Entebbe airport for your subsequent trip home after being dropped off at a place you choose in Kampala or Entebbe.
