5 Days Primate and Wildlife Safari details
Day 1: Arrivals and Kampala City Tour
Meet and meet our business representative before being transferred to your booked hotel for leisure, dinner, and overnight stay at the Fair Way Hotel. Depending on your time of arrival, you may begin our Chimpanzee and Wildlife Safari with a Kampala city tour to explore the important cultural and historical attractions like as Kabaka’s lake.
Day 2: Transfer Kibale National Park to Bigodi Swamp Walk
The next day, we will meet with our experienced guide and proceed to Kibale Forest National Park for a chimp trekking excursion. This excursion takes you through breathtaking scenery and traditional homesteads, with a lunch break in Fort Portal town. Later, check into your booked lodge and then go on a Bigodi swamp walk to see abundant butterflies, plants, animals, and spectacular birds like the Great Blue Turaco, as well as community interaction to learn about a variety of local activities such as coffee making and banana bear making. Dinner and stay at Isunga Safari Lodge.
Day 3: Chimpanzee trekking adventures in Kibale National Park- Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
After breakfast, drive to the park offices for a briefing and the distribution of chimpanzee groups to walk. Begin your adventurous trek through the bush in quest of the chimpanzees. After meeting the chimps, observe them while in their natural habitat, swinging from tree branches and interacting with their peers. After Chimpanzee trekking Kibale, return to your accommodation for lunch and prepare to move to Queen Elizabeth National Park for a wildlife safari the next day. Dinner and stay at Elephant Hab Lodge.
Day 4: Morning Game Drive and Boat Cruise
On your scheduled Chimpanzee & Wildlife Safari package, start your day with an early breakfast and then proceed to the park for a game drive in search of “big cats” and other species. During your safari journey, you may expect to encounter buffalos, lions, Uganda kobs, and hippos, elephants, among others. After your game drive, take a brief break to visit various crater lakes before driving to Mweya Peninsular for a delicious lunch and embarking on a wonderful boat tour on the Kazinga Channel, which links Lake George and Lake Edward, to see a variety of big hippos, elephants, and crocodiles, among other things. Return to the lodge for dinner, and stay for a night at Elephant Hab Lodge.
Day Five: Departure
After a full breakfast, transport to the airport with a stopover at the Equator for lunch, water activities, and photography. You may visit many artisan stores to purchase mementos to remember your Primate and Wildlife Safari in Uganda.
