Kidepo is estimated to be 1442sqkm located in the Karamoja region Northeast of Uganda hosting around 77 mammals and 475 bird species.

Day1: Pick up from the guest House and Transfer to Jinja.
Pickup from your Hotel in Kampala After early breakfast by our safari guide and brief you about our 7 days Eastern Safari and then drive off to Jinja. You will have the first stop at Ssezibwa Falls in Buikwe District for a short hike to the top of Ssezibwa falls. Here the View is Perfect, and a Calm green environment makes it more fun to take as many photographs as you may wish. From here you will head to Jinja for lunch at your hotel before you head out for a boat cruise to the source of the Nile.
Immediately after lunch and relaxation at your hotel, you will drive back to the source of the Nile for a boat cruise to the source of the Nile. Along this boat ride, numerous water birds species can be spotted like the Pied Kingfisher and many more. After the ride, you may drive to Jinja town to experience the nightlife or can choose to relax at your hotel and wait for the following day.

Day 2: White water Rafting and Transfer to Mbale
After an early breakfast, 7 Days Jinja Sipi and Kidepo Valley , you will head out the Conquer the Nile, after a briefing by your today’s guide from the White waters rafting company, you will join your fellow rafters for this adrenaline checking activity. The activity takes between 2 – 6 hours depending on the rafters’ time and money available to spend. Drive to Jinja town and then proceed to Mbale for your dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Sipi Falls Hike and Coffee Tour/7 Days Jinja Sipi and Kidepo
After an early breakfast, head out to hike the Sipi falls, after the briefing, you will join fellow hikers and walk through the dense green vegetation to the falls. There are 3 falls in the area falling freely from heights of 100m, which is the biggest and the main fall, 85m and 75m. if you are fit enough, you will conquer all the 3 falls, the views once at the top of these falls are breathtaking; land scopes makes the place one of the most beautiful areas in the country. Once at these falls, you may choose to do abseiling at an additional cost. Walk back to the starting point and drive to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.
Immediately after lunch, you will take a coffee tour around the community, where you will learn about coffee from the planting stage to the stage of roasting. It is an interesting activity where you get to interact with the community people at a personal level. Lastly after the coffee tour, you drive back to the lodge for a golden sunset over the cascading hills of Sebei.

Day 4: Drive to Kidepo Valley National Park/7 Days Jinja Sipi and Kidepo
After an early breakfast, checkout of the lodge and drive to Kidepo valley National Park. It is the most isolated park in the country. It gives a true African wilderness setting with large herds of Buffaloes, Elephants, Zebras, Lions, Leopards, Cheetahs. The only Park in Uganda where Ostriches can be found in the wild. It homes over 300 bird species and the unique beautiful Secretary bird. Has a unique blend of the Karamajong and Ik cultures which makes it a very famous destination for cultural tourism. The drive usually takes approximately 7- 8 hours. Check-in at the lodge in the Evening for Relaxation and Overnight.

Day 5: Game drive in Kidepo Valley National Park and nature walk/7 Days Jinja Sipi and Kidepo
After breakfast, you will drive to the savannah plains of Kidepo Valley National Park for game drives. The park hosts a variety of animal species compared to other parks in Uganda, you will have high chances to see lions, elephants, giraffes, buffalos, elands, bushbucks, leopards, spotted hyenas among others. You will have your lunch break before going for a nature walk through the Narus Valley, meet members of the endangered IK tribe and wander the splendid Kidepo River Valley between the banks of Borassus palm forest. Then return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Cultural encounter and afternoon game drive.
Having your breakfast at the hotel, you will drive to the nearby village in Kidepo to visit the notorious cattle-herding Karamojong who occupies North-eastern Uganda. Discover the unique culture of this remote tribe with the Lorokul Cultural Group work cattle keepers. Have a chance to visit the Karamojong homesteads, granaries, and cattle enclosure and learn more about the villagers. A lunch break before having a game drive and have more chances to see what you missed in the previous game drive. See the bush duiker, jackals, bush pigs, ostrich, buffalos, and much more in the Narus valley. Finally drive back to the lodge for an overnight.

Day 7: Transfer Back to Kampala via Aruu Falls/7 Days Jinja Sipi and Kidepo
After morning breakfast, say goodbye to Kidepo valley National Park, an en-route game drive out of the Park as you drive to Pader District for a stopover at Aruu falls. It is a very beautiful place in a calm green environment. The water falling over the old rocks forming a plunge pool downstream makes it so beautiful for interesting photographs. You may choose to swim in this natural swimming pool before driving back to Gulu for Lunch and continue with the return Journey to Kampala / Entebbe to End the Safari.
