Morning mountain gorilla tracking might take 2-8 hours, depending on the movements of the gorilla family assigned to you. Tracking will take you through high, thickly wooded slopes and muddy gorges before seeing mountain gorillas in their natural habitat, where they graze and swing in tree branches.

After reaching the gorillas, you will be permitted to spend one hour with them while standing 6 meters away, and you are free to take as many commemorative images as you wish. Each island is home to a community, most of which are Pygmy or Bakiga. Continue to Lake Mburo National Park, home to Uganda’s greatest zebra population and the only national park with Impalas, Elands, and Klip springers. When you arrive, check into your designated accommodation to rest and later eat lunch. Then, late in the evening, go on an adventurous night game drive in search of nocturnal animals that cannot be seen during the day, such as bush pigs, genet cats, white-tailed mongooses, leopards, and spotted hyenas. Day 10: Lake Mburo NP – Morning horseback riding – Transfer to Entebbe International Airport.

On this day, eat a light breakfast before heading out for some morning horseback riding. This is Uganda’s only national park where you may have horseback riding in the woods; it’s an incredible safari where you meet wildlife without hearing the sound of a motor, simply the sounds of nature. This horseback safari will allow you to observe shy creatures up close. You will witness a variety of species, including caped buffaloes, zebra, warthogs, impala, topi, bushbuck, waterbuck, and eland.

Seeing animals while horseback riding is simple and exciting since certain species, such as zebras, approach you closely to check out the weird family member without stripes, while elands, which are quite afraid, stare carefully at the horses without fleeing, but from a distance. Return to your lodge for another breakfast before beginning your journey back to Entebbe International Airport to catch your return flight. Alternatively, you may choose to spend an extra night in Kampala or Entebbe to commemorate the conclusion of your once-in-a-lifetime Uganda adventure safari.
