7-Day Flying Safari to Tarangire, Ngorongoro, and the Serengeti: On this seven-day fly-in safari, which starts with a journey into the Serengeti and continues via Tarangire National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater, you can learn about Tanzania’s animals. Admire breathtaking scenery while taking in amazing game watching, including the Big Five. For those looking for a comfortable yet exciting safari, this itinerary is ideal, since luxury camps provide immersive stays in the bush.

Arrival in Arusha on Day 1

Your personal driver guide or representative will meet you at the airport when you arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK). They will take you to your lodging in Arusha so you may spend the night there before your activities begin the next day.

Accommodation: Forest Hill Hotel

Fly to Serengeti National Park on Day 2 from Arusha

Transfer to Arusha Airport for your picturesque flight to Serengeti National Park following breakfast. Start your first game drive in the park, which is well-known for its expansive plains and profusion of animals, including the recognizable Big Five, as soon as you land. With a stunning perspective of the Serengeti wildness, your camp, Awali Serengeti Camp, provides an opulent tent experience. Before supper beneath the African sky, go in a wildlife drive at dusk.

Day 3: Spending the entire day at Serengeti National Park

After breakfast in the morning, you will continue your exploration of the expansive Serengeti and its never-ending grasslands in search of the big cats. The world’s greatest animal migration takes place in the Serengeti, which is a renowned safari destination in Africa. Perhaps the most well-known aspect of the Serengeti is the migration. Every October and November, more than 200,000 zebras and a million wildebeest migrate south from the northern highlands to the southern plains in search of the brief rains. Following the protracted rains in April, May, and June, they subsequently swirl to the west and north.

The primordial will to go is so powerful that no gorge, river, or crocodile infestation can stop them. You will go directly to your lodging for supper and an overnight stay after lunch.

Accommodations: Serengeti Camp Awali

Day 4: Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Serengeti

On your way to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, have a wildlife drive in Serengeti after breakfast. For a half-day wildlife drive, descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Black rhinos, hippos, and hyenas are among the many species that call this special habitat home. After climbing the crater rim in the afternoon, continue on to Embalakai Ngorongoro Camp, which is tucked away in the verdant hills, for your overnight stay.

Day 5: Tarangire National Park to Ngorongoro

After breakfast, leave Ngorongoro and go to Tarangire National Park, which is well-known for its enormous elephant herds and baobab trees. Savor an afternoon game drive where you may see a range of wildlife, such as buffaloes, giraffes, and a variety of birds. Get supper and spend the night in Ang’ata Tarangire Camp, a tented camp in a quiet section of the park.

Day 6: Tarangire National Park is open all day.

Take morning and afternoon game drives as you explore Tarangire National Park for the whole day. The park is well-known for the Tarangire River, which provides life during the dry season, and its seasonal marshes, which draw both prey and predators. The park is home to lions, leopards, and cheetahs in addition to elephants. For a restful evening, head back to Ang’ata Tarangire Camp.
